The first documents that applies to the Board of Directors governing the association are the applicable Florida Statutes. In apply the statutes to our Association, there is something called Kaufman Lanugage which a phrase that says "as updated from time to time". Since our Declaration of Covenants does not contain this language and was written in 1994, there are instances where the current Florida Statutes do not apply to the Association and other instances where they do. It can be confusing to say the least.
